i didn't like onions growing up but i've made myself accept them. it's just that they're so strong that the flavor overpowers everything. i still hate mushrooms tho.

I still can only eat onions if cooked. I can understand green onions or sweet/yellow onions somewhat, but I DO NOT understand how people like raw red onion in their salads. It just overpowers every other flavour and scent, there's no balance!!!

I think a lot of kids dislike them because they have them cooked in a way they don't prefer. Like the first onion I had was so slimy and I had to learn to cook to like them again lol.
