It had been nearly dusk, you and Atem walking side by side on the way to somewhere. As you both continued walking there were strange flashes of light in front of your eyes, but he didn't seem to be reacting strangely so you didn't say anything. Next you were feeling heat, flustered, unnerved by something. It was then that Atem finally turned to you

The young ruler entered his bedroom, ready to collapse onto his bed before... Holy Ra. There wasn't much he could say without being too excited. Where had Atem been all this time? "I... Thank you."
Was he okay? Did he... still remember him? He had to know. "You can just... leave him here. Thank you again." The messenger bowed in reply before leaving the two be. He wouldn't want to keep His Majesty from his sexy times, of course, not that it would have been the first thing on Yugi's mind. Maybe the second.
"Atem..." He tightly wrapped his arms around the other, incredibly manly tears streaming down his face. "Where...? Are you...?" He gave a light nuzzle, looking up at him. "Nothing happened to you... right?" Well, nothing bad, hopefully.

Instead all he could do was lean his head against the other. "Crossing into forbidden and unknown territory might have been a bad idea." He confessed. Despite his slightly weaker demeanor (he seemed like he might have lost weight). "But as I had suspected. It led me to you." A light smile.

Carefully, he helped Atem onto the bed. Why so scrawny, Atem? Take a seat, rest a little, tell your aibou what happened. "But where..." No wait, he could always wait. Don't think he didn't notice how weak you are, Atem, because he did and he's concerned all over the place. "Ahh... Should I get you something to eat? Or drink? Or...?" He reached over for the key as he spoke, his other hand firmly around Atem's. Can't forget about those chains, who knows how long Atem had been tied up. He was probably so uncomfortable. Yugi removed the chains, once again being careful not to hurt him at all. "...Better?"

"I'm fine." He half-lied with a shake of his head. "I wasn't thrown into the slave industry. Just a sex object." That's why he was left all his jewelery, painted up pretty, and maintained slightly well. His own refusal of their food and water might have had a lot to say about his condition but that didn't need to be said.
"Better seeing that you're alright." Now that was the truth.

Nothing had been in sight and before he knew it he'd been hallucinating. Then he'd fallen over and he was at the mercy of Ra.
Her voice didn't even really register to him, sounding like some warped echo of death or something similar. "Nn- where is..." His words were capped and quiet, his throat raw and mouth dry.

Gingerly, she pulled him into a sitting position, holding him up and pulling out her own waterskin, uncapping it in the process.
"It's all right, you're going to be all right..." she put the water to his lip, careful not give him too much at once. Didn't want him choke on something that was supposed to save him.

But the moment that water touched his lips he raised a weak arm out to take it. He needed it. Badly. He wanted to consume it all right now as if it would save his life. He became greedy for it.

The sight of the younger so emaciated and worn out grabbed at his guilt complex like nothing else. However it also gave him an added boost of needed anger as he had really decided to take on an entire hoard of thieves without much planning.
"You will surrender or die for your crimes." He said calmly, sticking his sword into the back of another man without a blink. Half of them seemed to give up just then. The rest spat and cursed Atem's name. He spared one look back to the other.
"Stay back." He warned, puzzle around his neck glowing brightly all of a sudden.

...of course, Atem ended up finding him. But wasn't that how it always turned out? He opened his mouth to say something, but found his throat was too dry to even muster up enough of a voice to yell out something. Plus.. when was the last time he even heard himself speak?
Instead, he nodded, setting down the clay pot and grabbing hold of what he could carry of his own chains, trying to move out of harm's way. Back by the oasis.. there were rocks there, right? Maybe he could hide behind them for now.

"Judgement." Something he would usually sit by his whole Court and preform but he just didn't have the time or patience right now. The puzzle glowed, seeking out their hearts and minds, and without any mind to the contrary Atem could already feel how disgusting and dark they were inside.
Without another thought towards it he sentenced them to death. Taking Yuugi had not been their only crime, surely it would have been enough though. Once the air was finally quiet, he staggered back a few steps. Now where had his partner gone?
"Aibou?" His sword was sheathed at his side, slid in-between the golden waist band he'd been wearing. His voice was definitely weaker than it had ( ... )

"Sweet mother of all that is holy and true," the vampire whispered a little before practically screaming the little messenger out in his desperation to have his Pharaoh alone.
The moment they were alone....
"Atem....where 'ave ye been?"

But at least the Pharaoh found some sort of humor in it all. He managed a light smirk. "Looking for you, obviously." And it had gotten him caught.

"They didnae harm you?" he asked, hands unable to keep from roaming over the should-be king just to make sure he was alive and that this wasn't yet another heat-induced dream.
It was him. It was really him.
Reply
"I wasn't made for harming." He said in a slightly lower tone, an arm wrapping around the other. "My purpose was made out to be for pleasure. Ruining your inventory with marks isn't a smart idea." Despite the bleakness of the idea he tried to keep that smirk about him.

A shorter sword was pulled from behind his cape and tossed to Kaiba as he contended with another man afterwards.
"How many are you planning on killing?" He called as he smacked through another two trying to take him head on. His puzzle could easily clear up all of this but it was Kaiba's decision alone. The man deserved payback.

"All of them," he swore, his voice as dark as it had been during Death-T, or the worst of Gozaburo's antics. He wanted all of their blood on his hands. He didn't care..and he certainly didn't wait for Atem's permission. The sword was already flashing in his hands, Kaiba stepping in to engage with any bandit within reach, no matter what the risk of injury.

But he couldn't just stand out of the way and let himself get attacked. He tried to keep the ones on the side where they are, just routing through them with well practiced precision and an uncaring hand as he took their lives. If nothing else, Kaiba would at least want the head of the boss. And Atem would abide by it.
