It had been nearly dusk, you and Atem walking side by side on the way to somewhere. As you both continued walking there were strange flashes of light in front of your eyes, but he didn't seem to be reacting strangely so you didn't say anything. Next you were feeling heat, flustered, unnerved by something. It was then that Atem finally turned to you ( Read more... )

What a long day. Who knew how much work royalty had to do? Well, aside from a certain someone Yugi missed dearly.

The young ruler entered his bedroom, ready to collapse onto his bed before... Holy Ra. There wasn't much he could say without being too excited. Where had Atem been all this time? "I... Thank you."

Was he okay? Did he... still remember him? He had to know. "You can just... leave him here. Thank you again." The messenger bowed in reply before leaving the two be. He wouldn't want to keep His Majesty from his sexy times, of course, not that it would have been the first thing on Yugi's mind. Maybe the second.

"Atem..." He tightly wrapped his arms around the other, incredibly manly tears streaming down his face. "Where...? Are you...?" He gave a light nuzzle, looking up at him. "Nothing happened to you... right?" Well, nothing bad, hopefully.

There was a key left on the bedside table before that messenger left. Had Atem been free to do as he pleased he probably would have decked that boy and fled earlier. Tying him up had obviously been the best option present, so sayeth the people who had captured him. Had he had use of his arms he would have hugged Yugi back.

Instead all he could do was lean his head against the other. "Crossing into forbidden and unknown territory might have been a bad idea." He confessed. Despite his slightly weaker demeanor (he seemed like he might have lost weight). "But as I had suspected. It led me to you." A light smile.

Yugi couldn't help but smile in return. Atem remembered him. And he was looking for him. But where was he? He needed to know where his partner had been for so long.

Carefully, he helped Atem onto the bed. Why so scrawny, Atem? Take a seat, rest a little, tell your aibou what happened. "But where..." No wait, he could always wait. Don't think he didn't notice how weak you are, Atem, because he did and he's concerned all over the place. "Ahh... Should I get you something to eat? Or drink? Or...?" He reached over for the key as he spoke, his other hand firmly around Atem's. Can't forget about those chains, who knows how long Atem had been tied up. He was probably so uncomfortable. Mou hitori no boku, you poor bb. Click~

Yugi removed the chains, once again being careful not to hurt him at all. "...Better?"

Just sitting was more comfortable than he remembered. Once those chains were off his wrists he rubbed at them, the skin slightly raw. His attention never really left Yugi, though. It had been far too long since he'd last seen the other. And because of how he'd been dropped into a body he'd only owned in the past, he couldn't help but think this had been his fault somehow.

"I'm fine." He half-lied with a shake of his head. "I wasn't thrown into the slave industry. Just a sex object." That's why he was left all his jewelery, painted up pretty, and maintained slightly well. His own refusal of their food and water might have had a lot to say about his condition but that didn't need to be said.

"Better seeing that you're alright." Now that was the truth.

Sex object? Concern +3000. Way to go, Atem. And screw that guy for giving Yugi a used whore. how dare he

"They didn't hurt you... did they?" He placed his hand on the other's cheek, ever-so-heterosexually. He wasn't sure what he'd do if Atem were hurt, being the pacifist that he was. He'd at least do his best to comfort him, and Atem's emaciated form was already worrying enough. "L-lemme get you something to eat..."

Another shake of his head. "They didn't want to hurt me." Bruising, breaking or leaving marks on a slave of his caliber would be bad for market. Even not indulging in such things himself he knew the layout. It had perhaps been his only saving grace, if a disgusting one.

The immediate reaction to hearing Yugi was going to leave his side was slightly unrefined, moreso than he would have allowed himself to be if he'd been in a normal condition. His hand shot out to take the other's. "I've only just found you." After such a long span of time with all that guilt he just couldn't think of Yugi getting up yet. Even if it was only to go for five minutes. He knew it probably made him weak. "I'm alright." He tried to assure again.

At least he wasn't hurt. Aside from the whole starving thing WHY WON'T YOU LET ME FEED YOU, OTHER ME, AHHHHH. The other grabbing his hand was upsetting, yet somewhat comforting as well. Part of him didn't want to leave either.

"Are you sure?" He frowned, holding the other's hand again. "I need to get you something." He could always ask someone to grab something for him, maybe one of the guards. Or maybe he could let Atem have a nice warm bath. Something. He deserved it.

He frowned at his own actions but was still reluctant to let go of the other. He couldn't really deny that he needed something either. To do so would be foolish after all of this. And Yugi's supplies wouldn't be tainted as he had suspected the market's to be.

"Water is fine." He was slightly dehydrated after all of this, as much as he could allow himself to be. After saying so his grip loosened but he seemed unable to let go completely.

Good, Atem finally admitted to needing wanting something. But the thought of leaving still upset him. "...I'll be right back, okay?" Just a quick hug, before he stood up. "I promise."

Moments later, he returned with some water, and even a little bit of food. His various guards were upset about him being up and about at such a late time and for not using one of his servants, Yugi, you are terrible at being a Pharaoh, stop doing things yourself, but Atem was more important than silly rules and such.

Atem needed it, right? Even if he wouldn't ask for it. He sat back down on the bed, smiling at his other self. "Is this enough?" If he had to, he'd go get more. Anything for mou hitori no boku.

The hug was welcomed, returned as best as he could before he gave the other a nod. Yugi wasn't going to disappear out of his sight again. Though maybe if he did he'd be disappearing back home. Back where he belonged. That couldn't have possibly been that bad.

Once the other had gone he slid back further on the bed, resting his head for just a moment. It had been a while since he'd allowed himself rest, even when it had been offered to him before. He eyed the other once he returned with goodies.

Sitting up again despite his body's protest, he reached out to take the water that had been offered. It tasted clean and refreshing, downing more than half of it in one go. The food was just looked at. Even before Atem hadn't been very good being a good normal human being and eating like he should. Still, he nodded, smiling again. "Thank you."

"You didn't need to get up." He moved closer, willing to let Atem lean against him if necessary. He was sure he was exhausted, and he needed all the comfort and aibou-lovings he could get.

With a smile, Yugi lightly wrapped his arms around the other. "Should I get you anything else? Are you tired? ...Anything?"

He found immense comfort in Yugi's arm around him, leaning into it with ease. Again he was quick to refuse any more help. He was sure he didn't need it. He also didn't need to be troubling his partner for anything, aside the fact that Yugi seemed well off here. It eased his conscience anyway, knowing that Yugi was taken care of all this time.

A slightly teasing smirk reached his lips. "I'm alright though... a little curious about something."

"About what?" Being the naive little dork he was, he wasn't expecting to be teased. All he saw was a happy mou hitori no boku. Aww yeahhh, happy mou hitori no bokus make aibous very happy, so happy that a certain mou hitori no boku's going to get an even tighter hug.

"You know I'd tell you anything." But we don't talk about my harem, okay? That's off-limits and punishable by death. And lots of aibou sex. But not in that order.

A light chuckle was let loose from his lips as he looked the other over. His partner looked as young and as innocent as they day he'd disappeared. A few months taking care of a country obviously hadn't changed that. It left a lot to his imagination as to what went on behind closed doors.

Simply put, Atem knew the pressures and the stresses of ruling a country.

"They said I was to be put in your harem- an already existing thing?" He had to ask. Or was Yugi about to create one upon his arrival? Or perhaps the messengers had got it wrong. Anything was possible.

Look what you did, Atem, now your adorable partner's all flustered. "I-it's not what you think!"

"I mean... I have one, but I don't..." Oh man, how is he gonna explain this? "I... can't help people giving me servants and stuff." He looked up at the other, his cheeks still a light pink. "They've been doing it ever since I arrived, I've had some trouble sleeping alone." Maybe because he missed a certain someone too much.

He gave a sad bb!panda frown. You believe him, right Atem?

An eyebrow arched just slightly. Being over defensive and flustered was usually a good sign of consciously doing something wrong. Atem didn't necessarily think having a harem in Yugi's sudden position was... wrong. He'd always turned down putting one together, but Yugi wasn't him so. If he wanted one who was to say it was wrong?

It did twinge something inside him though. An innate sense of jealousy that he was instantly aware of. He found himself nodding to cover it up.

"Were you going to call for one tonight?" Should I leave was the question he was actually asking.
