My computer has been repaired and is operating normally. I have two more years of warranty on it. Our long national ordeal is over. -
Adventures in Laptop Repair
Oh, it's been an interesting two weeks since my last post.
On the 13th (oooh, spooky), my laptop stopped recognizing the power supply/AC adapter. This was odd, as I'd just replaced the AC adapter two months prior due to frayed insulation, so it was relatively new. So, this past weekend, we went to St. Louis. Originally, it was so that the_z could attend Archon (a St. Louis sci-fi convention) and get some art in the art show/auction. Where have I been?

Busy, busy week
What a week it has been. This is not a bad thing; a lot of good things happened/got done. Breaking it down would probably be easiest:- Our copy of Rock Band 2 arrived last weekend, which we got to share with my parents. Ramendan!
Yesterday was our birthday celebration for hidaman, who is now officially "old" at 30. The theme for the evening? "Ramen-dan"; all our dishes had to involve ramen in some way, shape or form. Journal negligence and me
