Every year, yarn companies come out with new color cards; some of the old colors are retired, and new ones are brought in, much like Crayola does with crayons. They have an emergency relief fund set up specifically for Hurricane Katrina victims. Money will go towards search and rescue, health care and rehabilitation/shelter for animals of all persuasions caught up in this tragedy.
