My Grandma Pat died yesterday morning. It wasn't unexpected, I think a part of her died when Grandpa died. Also, she had a lot of health problems that were really starting to impact her quality of life. The last two times I called, she couldn't talk to me, physically. Seems like just yesterday I was marking my birthday. Now, it's almost May. Prom and graduation plans in general are still going forward in this area. Fingers crossed on that front.

Bummer. They never last long enough. Probably should have done more but I got quite a bit done, and the R&R was much needed.

Got some of the "shelves" for reorganizing my craft room yesterday. I say "shelves" because they are really tall, rolling caddies with five drawers each. Tres cool! That should help considerably.

What started as rain and more rain yesterday turned into snow in the evening. Forecasts were stating that we could see anywhere from 6 to 16 inches, and the most extreme, depending on where we were and the impact of Lake Effect. Wow. January wasn't too bad, but Ol' Man Winter seems to be making up for lost time this month, starting with Feb. 1. Had a ton of snow fall that day. We've had a couple big storms but then they were always followed by a warm period- then a cold plunge again, creating a lot of ice.
