Anyone have suggestions on fun/geeky things to do/places to visit/shop in Dresden? I'll be there for 4 days for a conference next week and I'm trying to see what there is to do there in whatever free time I end up having.

I'm in the last morning of a Public Finance conference in Ann Arbor and I have now mostly recovered from jet lag. Its been an interesting conference, though I think that if I come next year as well that will be better, because then I'll know a good chunk of the people up front. I've been watching Game of Thrones and my enthusiasm is rapidly waning. I'm remembering why I never read any further then book 1. Its very realistic, making it disappointing and kind of depressing to watch or read, and there is no one to empathize with. It started out good but by episodes 6-7 its all grey, very real - "The Shield" for fantasy.Blah
