I've been watching Game of Thrones and my enthusiasm is rapidly waning. I'm remembering why I never read any further then book 1. Its very realistic, making it disappointing and kind of depressing to watch or read, and there is no one to empathize with. It started out good but by episodes 6-7 its all grey, very real - "The Shield" for fantasy.
