Ah, writing... sometimes it's like pulling teeth from the mouth of a persnickety alligator, and then there are the stories that just kind of flow from your fingers and take on a life of their own. This is one of the latter.

I am sleepy and thus going to bed soon, but I just wanted to report that after an exhaustive FOUR HOUR WRITING STINT today (apparently listening nonstop to "The Dark Knight" soundtrack helps)...

I AM OFFICIALLY FINISHED WITH MY SUPES/BATS BIG BANG. HUZZAAAH. :D

Yes, dear ducklings, I am still alive, despite my lack of posts in the past week or so. School has officially started and I've been reading like a maniac before I have to read stuff for school, so my writing productivity has gone way down. Good Lord, it is gorgeous. Sunny, breezy, in the mid-eighties... le sigh. It is perfect. And it all adds up to make the best official start to summer ever!

I spent some time at Madison's Brat Fest this afternoon and am now contemplating either going swimming in Lake Mendota or taking a nap in the sun like a sleepy kitty. Decisions, decisions.
