Zebra mussels are evil.
Hello, friends! I haven't updated in a while, so here is some general news:
First of all, my parents closed on their new lakehouse this week so I've been hanging out there (hence my lack of online activity), and holy crap it is gorgeous.
We are right on the water and we have jet-skis and kayaks to play with and we can catch fish off our pier and there is no internet yet so it's like we're in the middle of the woods even though we're not, really, and DID I MENTION THIS HOUSE IS GORGEOUS? And after my class today I get to head back for the weekend and the Fourth! Woo! \o/
However, I did slice my foot clean open on a zebra mussel, so now it's all bandaged up and I have a slight limp. Alas. At least it'll be a cool battle wound!
Hm... what else?
My creative writing class is going well. It's been fun so far - pretty standard. My internship is going well, too. I haven't had much time to write lately, but I'm hoping that might change this weekend. I'm sorely tempted to enter the SuperBat Big Bang, so I've been tossing plot ideas for that around, but that won't start for a little while.
Honestly, I've been pretty dull for the past couple of weeks. But I'm still alive! :D
