2 very different series
In my attempt to stay out of Meng's way and distract myself for long enough periods, I have given myself 2 new series to watch. Normally I would be in full swing into the Winter Season of anime, but I prefer to watch and choose stuff with him around...
( So, I decided that it was about time I gave Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood another go ) -
Tatsumi's changing sense of style
This entry is dedicated to a character from Shiki, called Tatsumi. He's a "werewolf" and has funny hair (i.e. hair made to look like ears O_O).
He seemed the typical bad guy so I didn't pay much attention to him until episode 18 when he appeared in the most bizarre suit ever. Of course, he then topped himself in ep19 (images to come). This left such ( Read more... ) -

Having rediscovered this journal as I tend to do this time of year, I thought I'd update my previous entry since I've watched a few more series from that top 50 list :)

Anime of 2009
Well, it's the end of another year. Since I have some time to kill, I thought I'd take some time to reflect and review the series I have watched this year.

At this time of year...
Kinda odd not going home. But I'm a graduate now, you can't have 3 weeks off from work. Work has been a right pain in the ass mind. Since my normal hours involve Thursday-Sunday, I thought I'd be able to go home today and stay until Saturday. Nope. Grrr! I haven't been properly ill in a good number of years and BAM I get two colds in two weeks >_< Last tuesday, I came down with a nasty sneezing and bunged up cold. OMG
In a really surprising way, Ga-Rei Zero has continued from it's great first episode conclusion and its second episode was fantastic! I shall be watching this one with eagerness ^^ ( Why? Spoilers, my dears ) -
New anime, you say?
Well, this season looks particularly promising! Since doing my opening video's, I'm far more aware of what is available. The April season was pretty poor, but the October one has a lot to offer! I fear I have picked up too much...but that may also be because I'm watching 4 series I normally wouldn't, simply because 2 other people want to watch them ( Read more... ) -

Anime-related events throughout June-July-August:
The last few episodes of Shion no Ou were finally released. However, the length of time between episodes coupled with the increasingly bad animation meant that I wasn't at all satisfied with the end of the series. My score for it lowered greatly. Oh well.
