Anime-related events throughout June-July-August:

The last few episodes of Shion no Ou were finally released. However, the length of time between episodes coupled with the increasingly bad animation meant that I wasn't at all satisfied with the end of the series. My score for it lowered greatly. Oh well. Oh... lots of good stuff, here. My absolute favorite is Le Portrait de Petit Cossette. It's so deep and beautiful. It really transcends most of the stuff out there.

Out of the rest, I've watched Black Lagoon (not quite half the series - good stuff), Scrapped Princess (watched it all, own it now) and Gunsmith Cats (always a good one to re-watch).

I'm scared to watch more than the first couple of episodes of Higurashi. o_o

I'm going to check out Library Wars, now. Thanks! I'll be back to take a peek at some of the other items here. I have a couple of friends that keep telling me to watch Mai-HiME, but we'll see. I watched the first DVD and it was fun, certainly.
