A discussion I couldn't have dispassionately in person
A friend started a conversation about the meaning of "Rape" and I found I could not have that discussion with them in person. I am going to have it here behind this cut (because I recognize the trigger factor and because I feel strongly about it).

I am heartened to see people finding dreamwidth. I like reading your long and thoughtful insights and even your food journals. There is just something nice about this longer format with its commentary streams and multi-threaded conversations.

On Friday, I caught up with Drea and saw the Black Panther. We had dinner at "The Grill" in Waltham which had lovely Mediterranean food and we sat for a few hours kibitzing and catching up. As for the movie, no spoilers, just advice, go see it. Worth spending the money in the theatre. I hope, with all my heart, that this makes BIG money and ( Read more... )Martin

Last night I had the pleasure of being introduced to the music of Garnet Rogers in Pomfret, CT by Rozi and Matthew. The venue was small and intimate but we arrived early and got a seat at the second nearest table.
