Matthew Dennis Adams 27, Indianapolis, passed away at home on December 18, 2007. He was born July 25, 1980 in Southfield, Michigan to Dennis C. and Barbara J. Horn Adams. Matt passed away at 6:30 this morning after a pretty peaceful night. We will let you know funeral and viewing times.

After being very agitated, confused, and restless all Saturday night, we were able to increase his medication enough that he is now sleeping all the time. After witnessing Matt's extreme agitation, his nurse diagnosed him with terminal restlessness which means he should have about 24-48 hours (but who knows, Matt is stubborn :) Right now he seems ( Read more... )

Matt has reached the point in his illness that he is no longer able to take phone calls, write emails, or post on his blog. Mic and I have been clean some closets out this weekend, and I just found a vest in the front coat closet that I haven't worn in a long time. When I went to see the doctor 2 weeks ago, we talked about adjusting the dosing of my pain medication. I wasn't sure I need any more, so I decided to wait and watch my usage a little before making an adjustment. Big mistake!
