Matt has reached the point in his illness that he is no longer able to take phone calls, write emails, or post on his blog. You are all an inspiration to us. What a courageous and faith-filled journey you have been on for the past several years. We pray Matt will peacefully find his eternal rest and that you will all find comfort. Our lives have certainly been enriched by knowing Matt and we will forever cherish the memories of our time with him. He is a wonderful man. There are many of us back here in Freehold praying for all of you. Wishing you God's peace and sending you our love,
Michael, Susan, Elizabeth, Michael & Stephen Fox

What a hard time this is, and feeling helpless is the worst feeling of all. Just know we love you and you are constantly in our thoughts right now.

I'm so sorry it has come to this, and right at Christmastime. I lost my mom a couple years ago, so I can sympathize, but I know it's not the same, because he is so young. Matt and I were very good friends in high school (FTHS), (we went to the prom together, my senior year and his junior year), and I know the world will miss him terribly. However, he has been such a trooper through all of this, which speaks volumes for him and his inner strength, and I'm sure God has a better plan for him. I hope he is comfortable at this point, and my thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this very difficult time. Hang in there...
With love,
Christine Cialdella
