There's been a lot of talk in the media lately about getting involved or not getting involved when you witness something wrong (especially violence). Moving
Wow how the times goes! I need to get better at leaving posts here. I've just been so busy. What an incredible, awful winter. BUT, I have kept on keeping on and now am just 8 days from moving away from here. I'm going to be working in a coffee shop in Steveston which is one of the suburbs of Richmond, BC. pc problems
I'm not sure what went wrong but somehow my computer worked when I turned it off the other day and didnt' when I turned it back on. After a couple of days of playing with it and a fresh XP install, I think it's fixed. Beware. Looks like SP3 overwrote my openGL32.dll files (required for 3d graphics) and made it unreadable. It's taken forever to change over because my old host is using versions of mysql and php that are several years outdated and not compatible with the newer version. For those of you who don't know, your mysql databases hold the content of your pages so if you can't import your tables, you lose your content. That is what happened in this case. Nothing is ever as easy as it should be.
Well, it was sunny today so I started ripping apart the rear strut. Ran into some issues with it, didn't have some tools we needed. Ended up going into the nearest town to buy some sockets for the impact drill. Don't want to get into all the details but we spent about 6 hours doing what should have taken less then an hour. It was a cold and blustery day but that didn't stop You-know-who from going outside to change her rear struts, spark plugs and lug posts. Knowing it would take the most time, she started with the struts.
