I think I'm starting to get hot flashes.  I'm only 41! (going on 42).

Just came home this evening from our 3 night stay at Severn Lodge in Muskoka.  It was quite different from the Delawana Inn, where we usually stay.  Similarly family-oriented, but only about 1/4 of the size (including our room)!  My first thought was, "Oh, oh."  But within a day, I came to see the advantages.  Because the compound is so compact, ( Read more... )

Things could be better today.

My sister hosted a Mother's Day BBQ today.  A lot of people were in attendance, including my parents, my brother-in-law's parents, several other family members and my sister's Chinese tutor and her husband (from mainland China).  They are spending 1 year in Canada on a special study/work visa.  Surprisingly, the wife became pregnant while in Canada ( Read more... )

So my parents said they went to the accountant today and found out they were getting a much bigger tax refund than they thought.  They seemed to be really happy about it.

About 2 weeks before we left for Florida, I started to wonder if I had become lactose-intolerant.  I guess about a month ago, my friend treated me to some ice-cream at a movie.  I ordered the small size, which turned out to be a whopping huge amount.  But I ate it, because it was good.

I've completed 3 Jungian exams in the last month, but I have one more to go this Saturday.  I'm being examined on "Interpretation of Fairy Tales" in Toronto.
