We're in London UK now for our last day.

Already we've been to Cophenhagen for 6 days, then Prestwick (outside Glasgow) for three, then York (3), Sheffield (1) and now here in London.

It's been a nice break from the normal routine, but it'll be nice to start heading home as of tomorrow.

Yesterday was the 27th anniversary of a Barrie weather disaster, an F4 category tornado that killed 8 persons, including a little boy a block from our old house on Briar Road in Allandale Heights. Some folks on my FB were talking about it, and I thought I'd share some memories I posted there.

1) Our house is still in in the midst of post-moving chaos with boxes everywhere!  Got the hot-tub working though, and I bought and assembled a new Whalen 'Austin' TV stand for our Sony Bravia flatscreen TV and a Samsung soundbar with wireless sub-woofer to work with it ( Read more... )
