replaced water heater drain valve

The water heater drain valve that was the original that came installed into the water heater. Had started leaking.

At first, it was a slow drip every few seconds. So, I had just put a 2gal plastic bucket under the drip, and maybe every two days or so, would drain the bucket when it became half full.

Started raining yesterday. Solid medium rain.

Still solid medium raining this morning. The ground outside is soaked. Love it. We needed it.

Voted. In person, at my local voting center.

Early voting rocks! Took my marked-up sample ballot. Went at 10:30am. No lines. Walked right up, signed in, voted, came home.

Sunrise lately around 50F/10C. That's cold for us! Triggered me to do the annual cleaning and testing of the floor furnace, for our few months of cold.

Kitchen LED floodlight - Ecosmart brand - lasted 6yrs + 3months

Wife reported one of the kitchen ceiling floodlamp light bulbs was out, and occasionally flickering.

It was one of the original LED bulbs I had installed into the kitchen ceiling, to save money on electricity, save the planet, and all that: Ecosmart, 3000k, 100mA, 40degrees.

Halloween 2022

This was the first contagion 'ween, where we did not wear masks. Contagion covid risk remains "low" for where we live, so felt comfortable doing so.
