Last month I was looking over the budget for the year for my boss as I normally do and I noticed that my salary was significantly higher in the budget that what I actually get paid if I look at my pay stubs and add them up for 52 weeks.

Galiano to Wallace Island, Aug 24 - 26, 2007:

So Jillian and I raced to the ferry on Friday afternoon and caught the 4:10pm, arriving on Galiano Island about 6pm. Galiano now has a taxi service - one taxi and one bus that run tourists and locals without cars up and down the island. I am leaving work early today. I'm all packed, am going to swing by and pick up J. to catch the 4:20 ferry. We are going kayak camping for the weekend around Galiano Island. Who needs air fresheners? 
I left 2 pounds of fresh ground espresso in the trunk of my car for the last few hours and now the whole car smells divine.

Last night was 2 for 1 kayaking at Ecomarine which is a short walk from my office. So my friend R and I went out for an evening paddle. I tried to take some pictures but the water was way too choppy to do anything but wide angle shots. Not the most exciting - but there you are. It's wonderful to be able to paddle in the city.

We had fun.
