Facebook and stuff
Apparently it's going across the Internets. I have no idea why this makes me decide to post my sixth entry of the year, but whatever. My LJ won't have any connection to my Facebook. Honestly, at this point I clearly just use it to read (and comment) and all of my very small friends list's activities, and do most of my posting on Facebook ( Read more... ) -
Dreaming of LJ
Had a dream last night (or more accurately, this morning) that I was updating my Livejournal. Can't remember what was so important that it actually got me to update, but it amused me. -
Cake decorating fool
I signed up for a cake decorating class at a local community college (Northampton Community College, or NCC, though the sign on the highway is for Northampton County Area Community College and everyone just calls it Nack-Yack ( Read more... ) -
Capital One
Got a new Capital One card, which I activated today. An hour later or so, I used it to withdraw some cash at the local casino (which I sadly promptly blew through). I'd basically had time to get to my seat at the Blackjack table before someone called to make sure I actually made the transaction ( Read more... ) -

Dining in New York
I often forget about making reservations -- I think it's just because I don't eat out enough so I forget other people do. My mom was visiting this past weekend and I tried to reserve a table for two at two nice restaurants in the Valley (one's local, the other a new Melting Pot).
