Town - Too good to last
I guess I always knew it was too good to last. We lost on Saturday and are losing again tonight. :-(
I hope we can beat Birmingham - and our former manager, Lee Clark - on Saturday.

Second in the league!
OMG!!! Town have beaten Blackpool to go second in the league. Even better, they won 3-1 and that's the score I put on the Prediction League. I don't win any money but I'll get a nice bunch of points. Should be a bit closer to the top, although he got the first scorer correct and I didn't; correct score should be more points than first scorer, I ( Read more... ) -

News blackout
I feel as if I'm living in a country run by a repressive regime with a state media organisation which broadcasts only selective items. I'm referring to the BBC TV's blanket coverage of the Olympics. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a "too much sport on TV" complaint. I love it. I'm thrilled that the BBC has 24 extra channels dedicated to showing ( Read more... ) -

Is it just me? #3
Team GBIt's a phrase I've used myself. It seems the be the generally accepted way of denoting the "home" team in the 2012 Olympics. For example, when talking about the football team, (which includes a few Welshmen) commentators frequently have to correct themselves from "England" to "GB". Buried alive
Just read this story on the BBC website about a couple who have been found dead, 10 days after their car was buried under a landslide. Awful. I hope they ran out of oxygen quickly, before they'd given up hope of rescue because, in the circumstances, that would be the best way to go.
