MY BOY DEMPSEY FROM NACOGDOCHES JUST SCORED A GOAL AGAINST ENGLAND! GO NAC! It was really less about him being a badass and more about England's goalie really sucking it hard, but still.

Life has been good, mostly. We went to the beach at St. Augustine on Tuesday, and it was awesome. It was a beautiful, pristine, white sand beach in a state park. The waves were big enough to knock us around a little, but not big enough to be scary. I just saw a fox walk through my back yard with what looked like a squirrel in its mouth. Also, there are armadillos digging up our lawn.
