Now that my husband and I have more or less retired from working with the wildlife, the tension here has eased considerably. More snow fell last night, about four inches. Spouse has been out this morning shoveling paths to the birdbath, feeders and the pen where a little gray-phase screech owl is at present. Today is our 35th wedding anniversary. 1)  After several days of re-conditioning in a large flight pen, spouse took both owls previously discussed back to their point of origin and said Hasta la vista, babies!
