LOL! He was cute, and not at all put out about the extra effort involved to get me down. In fact, he asked me afterward if I'd like to try it again! I said only if he would carry me down and he said, "Okay!"
I so couldn't watch "The Ring." Which reminds me: according to the previews, one of the auditioners for SYTYCD does a contortionist/B-boy type routine with that element and I had to cover my eyes. Anything that makes me do that can't be a good thing.
You say they're remaking "The Crow?!" Ack. How could they? Sacrilege. Sacrilege, I say.
It only happened the one time (spirit following me, I mean :) And that in response to what might have been construed as a direct invitation. We were all getting in the car. It had been a long day of grubbing through the jingweeds and we were all exhausted. One girl remained, trudging slowly up the hill. I called out, "Come on, Helen, we're leaving!" And this cold, cold wind rushed up the hill. It wasn't until I got home that I realized what had happened. She moved on about three days later.
Looking forward to your seven. It doesn't have to be about you, if you'd rather not. Anita blogged seven personality quirks about the character of her book. Maybe you would prefer something like that?
Thanks for including me. These lists are always fun. Have you ever talked to your ghost? When I was little, I used to leave a tape recorder on at night (hoping to hear a spirit).
I've tried, but have never gotten much in reply :) There's really two, the priest and his sister, Mary. She's the strongest and was the most disruptive at first. I understand from the neighbors that she was forcibly removed from here way back when and put into a nursing home where she died, but she seems to have gravitated back here. We could never use the room that was her bedroom for anything except the nursery for critical care animals. She seems to like them and is quiet when they're in there. It's my guess the priest hangs out to be with her. We did ask a sensitive friend to come and speak with them (especially her.) Things settled down some after that. She's still here, though, as is he. I'm okay with it as long as they're calm.
