Spouse and I just spent the last seven months researching my family tree. We're finally done and hallelujah! It's been a long and arduous process. We joined two organizations, commissioned a search for one set of grandparents and amassed enough paper to fill a medium-sized box. And it hasn't been cheap. That's where we are, too. We're thinking of doing that, perhaps next year. Right now we're just signed up for the basic package, but we'd love to make the entire tree available, including all the extended families of families. We only included the direct ancestors in this mailing.

Btw, was I supposed to send you my address? Things got really hectic last week and I don't think I read carefully enough :(

I walked away from the computer after sending the data feeling slightly stunned. Of all the possible benefits, that one would never have occurred to me.

My mind is still a little boggled by the timing of it all. And what makes it even more awesome: this is the cousin who went way beyond the extra mile to share what info she had that let us put so much together to be able to help her in return. Her efforts came full circle :)
