He tries to tug off the helmet.

Elda is sitting by the fireplace, reading a book. This would be a normal scene anywhere on a cool evening.

To make it a normal scene at Milliways, the teenage girl would have to be a griffin the size of a draft horse, who is in fact studying an ancient looking grimoire.

Also, she's on duty, her Security badge prominently

Jacen Solo -- clothes dirty and hair tangled -- doesn't even look up as he scrambles through the door on his hands and knees.

He's following a baby gartro, murmuring to it under his breath. Its wing is broken, but it's still moving pretty fast, and seems nervous even of Jacen. He's fixing that, but he sure hopes no one steps on it in the meantime.
