It's amazing how a picture ...or in this case 4 or 5...can destroy all your built up self esteem. I have been on this diet now for 5 months and have lost over 40 pounds. I have been fighting with my weight almost all my adult life and this has been the most I have ever loss. I have to pull my belt so tight that the waistband bunches up. Going soon ( Read more... ) -

If you seen me posting on Facebook and Twitter about my weight loss I have only been posting the amount I have lost(and soon the inches)but never my weight itself. The reason I don't is I gained so much I am ashamed how big I got. So here I will say for the first time how much I was at the start of the diet...402 pounds. I am....not tonight but soon...going to start using my LJ to start talking about my weight loss. There are things I would like to talk about that I really don't really want to talk about on Facebook. Hope I don't bore you too much -

There are times where my loss hits me hard. Dec 3rd and mother's day can do it.. I can't listen to "the rose" without getting a bit misty, and there have been movies that tore me up. "Finding Neverland" just killed me. Friday I decided to watch the Christmas Dr Who. Well it gets to the last 10 mins of the show, and it hits me hard. So hard that i ( Read more... ) -

I remember what the 4th thing on the list...take more pictures. I am never without a camera cuz of my iPhone(with a wicked app) and I have a rocking digital camera but I just don't. New Years stuffII
I don't like trying to do the normal resolutions things. I never keep them and I feel like shit when I do. So I have decided I will do it just not use the "R" word. Here is what I am planing on trying this year.- Get healthy. Not so much lose weight(which is part of it) but eat better and just getting up and moving more then the lump i have let ( Read more... )
