Ruminating On Fomenting
So with the passing of the Super storm named Sandy we have picked up one job which we finished today. I've looked at a half dozen or more jobs including one oak tree laying on the roof of a house, but no bites yet. life of old pick ups even older dump trucks and soon to have newer chipper
So Monday we built a box on the dump truck to contain the wood chip and finished with the remainder of the minor repairs on the pick up.
Yesterday we started our first job with all the new equipment. The job was suppose to be two days but we finished a half day early.

So we finally were able to get the beater of a pick up home. Its been an interesting journey with it. Today I attempted to take it through inspection to no avail. A few minor things to fix and all will be good. In addition, today we bought a small dump truck. Its a ford F350 73 truck. Three speed on the floor. So Monday I finally bit the bullet and upgraded some of the chainsaws. The company bought three new saws it would have been four but they did not have one in stock. We upgraded the top handle climbing saw to the slightly larger and professional grade climbing saw. So today I had to return a chainsaw. It was not a must have saw, handy to have around as a mid size saw. Now the question is do I replace it with a different model seeing that its the second one of the same model that has given me trouble or do I purchase another small saw for limbing and bucking logs. So, we've been working like madmen as of late. People keep calling so I keep cutting, which is a good thing. Though I may have to take a week or two just to split and stack wood. I'm also about up to my hair line in wood chips.
