So, Dan (one of my headhunters) called me at 10am this morning. He said he was able to sent up an interview for 1pm. With just over 2 hours to prep, I whirled into action. An interesting Birthday Idea
So this afternoon I was working a VEAP, and this family showed up with several bags of food to donate. The girl, who was about 10 years old had a birthday over the weekend. Instead of asking for gifts, she wanted people to bring items to donate to the food shelf. They collected 50 lbs (22.68 kg) of food. According to the mother this was their ( Read more... ) -

Well, it has finally happened. Tonight I was informed that May 30th will be my last day at Target. The main reason I lost the job is because someone needed to be cut from our project, I got picked. I can't wait for this month to be over! It has been a series of ups and down that have left me a very dark mood. Today (February 13th) is Sorry Day in Australia. This was to celebrate the national apology to the Indigenous children (commonly know as the stolen generation) who were forcible removal from their families.
