Marriland.com has been down since last night. I'm irritated now, and to make it worse, it's SteVanDan's birthday today and he doesn't even have the Forums to party on. What a lousy friend I am ( Read more... ) -
Just a short rant.
So here I am, waiting for a 190MB MySQL dump from my database to upload to the new Marriland server, and it's driving me crazy. As of now, it's 36% uploaded. I can only hope that the program I found to execute that large SQL dump will actually work, otherwise... I love birthday art!
It's so wonderful knowing that people would go through the trouble of drawing me awesome things in celebration of my birthday (or even just in general), and it was definitely shown today. Throughout the day, I received 3 pieces of art all from good friends of mine!

Have you ever begun to cry while listening to random songs for apparent reason at all? I have recently. And once I have begun, every time I hear the song, I start again. Strange... -
My resolutions as an 18-year old
I hereby agree that I will do all of the following, effective immediately on Tuesday, September the 6th:- I will vote in everything possible. I will go to elections, poll sites, rate my pics. Everything. I could do the latter two anyway, but this time it will feel more 'legal'.

My brain has turned to mush.
My day consisted almost solely of one thing, and one thing only: watching movies!
Throughout the day, I've watched 6 and a half hours of movies! Wowza, I haven't watched that many movies in a long, long time...

Tags are cool!
I spent about a half hour or so tagging my LJ entries, all the way back to 9/25/04. The tagging feature is awesome, I've found out! It's a good way to organize things, so then people can find anything in particular, such as articles, Pokemon-related, surveys, and etc. Fun stuff ( Read more... )
