I love birthday art!

It's so wonderful knowing that people would go through the trouble of drawing me awesome things in celebration of my birthday (or even just in general), and it was definitely shown today. Throughout the day, I received 3 pieces of art all from good friends of mine!

Ah-hahahaha! This made me laugh so hard! Awesome job, aisha_clan_clan! This has to be the funniest Chansey I've ever seen, and it's hilarious how you incorporated all of those 18+ details, like pipes, piercings (well, piercing without consent), voting, etc. I rofl'd hard! Thank you so much, aisha_clan_clan! ^^;
(By the way, the text on the side says the following: You're 18! Have fun using your new priveleges/making fun of other people using priveleges that you can but won't. =) -Randi
PS: Now that you've finally gotten this, you can go get a shirt that says "I turned 18 + all I got was a crappy drawing." =P (note to self: good idea!)

A great drawing of Dark Mastermind, enriched with a very sinister and dire looking background! Way to go Brandon, you sure weren't kidding about how much shading was involved! You didn't lie when you said not a single part of the drawing was left unshaded! It's awesome! Thank you Brandon!

Wow, such an awesome gift from Blake! He gave me a binder, complete with what you see above, the original pencil drawing, a short comic of Brandon vs. The Fly, and like probably 50 or so pages for the binder! WOW! I love this drawing! There are so many details on it, like the motto on the T-shirt I'm wearing ("We 0wn your socks!"); the Entei and Raikou (I gave Blake and Brandon a card of them on their first day there); enygma315 with his RuneScape character, guarding all of my RuneScape money; and Dark Mastermind, of course. Truly amazing, and now I need to figure out which cards will be worthy of that binder! Thank you Blake!

If you haven't clicked that LJ Cut yet, you really should. Definitely!

I LOVE artwork of any kind, especially when it was created for me! Whenever I receive art that someone drew for me (which isn't really that often), it makes me so happy; I feel appreciated and important. I have a great and deep respect for art and the artists that draw them. Tremendous amounts of respect, actually! Sometimes I only wish I were able to repay the favor, although I'm not really that great of an artist, so most of the time I have to resort to alterior means.

Anyway, I finally donated to a Hurricane Katrina relief fund! There happened to be a donation jar at TIY, so I brought along the money I planned on donating, and put it in the jar at the end of the day. I donated $41 (20% of any birthday cash I received) toward helping those whoms lives will never be the same after Hurricane Katrina.

If you have any spare money, please PLEASE PLEASE consider donating it to a Hurricane Katrina relief fund! Yes, it's been a few weeks since Hurricane Katrina made her mark, but that doesn't mean things are right. Over 1,000,000 people had to leave their homes and may never be able to return. So many of them have nothing... absolutely nothing. No food, no water, no medicine. So, please, I urge you to look at your money and ask yourself this: Would I rather use this $X.XX to buy myself something that I'll be amused by, or use this $X.XX to feed a family who's home was destroyed and lives have been ruined for X days/weeks. Even just 5 dollars would be a tremendous help to a family in need. Even a dollar. Even ten cents. Anything. Anything you can part with. Please, please at least consider it, because to you $X.XX may seem like nothing, but for someone that's lost it all, it can seem like everything.

Remember, clothes and toys are good things to donate too! There are plenty of ways to donate any old clothes or toys you might have and give them to someone far less fortunate. Please do what you can, thank you.
