Just a short rant.
So here I am, waiting for a 190MB MySQL dump from my database to upload to the new Marriland server, and it's driving me crazy. As of now, it's 36% uploaded. I can only hope that the program I found to execute that large SQL dump will actually work, otherwise... Well, I'll have to do a lot of editting to break the 190MB SQL into smaller chunks, all under 55MB. So that's, like, 4 chunks, and I really am not looking forward to that.
Oh well. Cross your fingers, everyone, that the database is successfully transferred! The sad part is that I'll have to do this all again when I transfer the updated database, because this database is from yesterday, and there's been quite a few posts and user registrations since yesterday. Once I'm ready to get the DNS changed over to the new server, I'll probably close the Forums for a few hours until everything has been transferred successfully.
