Pastor Kurt passed away last night at about 10 p.m. He was asleep when it happened so he wasn't in any pain. He had had a rough couple of days because of the internal bleeding and hadn't eaten since Friday. It's weird to be both relieved and sad. I'm glad he's not suffering anymore ( Read more... )

I almost cried in my lesson yesterday because this one piece for my hymn festival has been hurting my hand and we decided to just pick a different piece. I'm not sad about forgetting that the piece ever existed because it wasn't that great... I feel like the whole world has cancer. Pastor Kurt's tumor has grown into his small intestine and he's bleeding internally. I just got home from my road trip to Oberlin. Lauren drinks coffee nonstop, so by extension I had more coffee today than I usually have in a month. I think I'm really tired, but my brain is like PARTY TIME. Which is good because I have stuff to do. I don't know how I let almost the entire break go by without hardly getting anything accomplished. Having Bobby gone blows, but I'm not as lonely/bored as I thought I'd be because I'm keeping pretty busy. I've gone to the gym every day, which is a luxury I usually can't enjoy.
