Himself's EMT pay and his Social Security both arrived today via direct deposit, and between the new dishwasher, the electric bill, and the phone-and-internet bill, most of it promptly went right back out again.

I'm making pot roast in the crockpot for dinner.  All the work part got done about noon, and now all the roast has to do is sit there in the slow cooker and slow cook until about 8:30 or so.

The Manchester Union Leader has endorsed Joe Biden.
This makes their first Democratic endorsement in over 100 years.

Last time round, they disliked Trump enough to endorse the Libertarian candidate instead.  Four years, it seems, have done nothing to improve their opinion of him.
