Another Grey and Disgustingly Clammy Day
That about says it all, really.
I'm making pot roast in the crockpot for dinner. All the work part got done about noon, and now all the roast has to do is sit there in the slow cooker and slow cook until about 8:30 or so.
In other news, the inevitable result of having unmasked flatlanders coming up here to see the fall foliage and drive around in ATVs and go quail hunting and the like is that the Black Bear Tavern is closing for two weeks because two of its staff tested positive for COVID.
