I'm done at Lafarge! I can now say that I've held a full time job for a year! The 18th was my last day and then that night I flew out to the Maritimes. They definitely gave me a good send off with a party that completely caught me off guard on the Thursday and then my boss took me out for lunch and ordered me lots of beer on the Friday ( Read more... )

I got all four of my wisdom teeth taken out this week. I was worried since I'd never been put under before or had any type of surgery or anything. I know it's really minor and routine but I was still kind of freaking out. Overall it's been a pretty good experience. About a month ago, the company I work for (Lafarge) decided to sign up for the CN Tower Team Climb to help raise money for the World Wildlife fund. Because I like the World Wildlife Fund I decided to sign up.
