Anyone going to LA. Philly, Boston or NYC for the Globe's Love's Labours lost? ps note to US papers - please note where the apostrophe should be in Labours!!! It is lots of labours, not just one! :-)

Black Watch at the Freud, LA
Dear all
Are any of you in LA? How did this go down? I was in LA 4 years ago at the Freud for the Globe 12th Night. How funny that another classic troupe from the Uk are there!
BTW seeing mark R in I am Shakespeare next week - would it be tactless do you think to wear my "William Shakespeare wrote Shakespeare's plays" tee-shirt?

Critics Awards for Theatre in Scotland - Yaaaa-y way to go, Liam!
Another little boast for Liam Brennan! He has been nominated as Best Actor in the Scottish Theatre Awards for his performance as Otto in Tom Fool at Glasgow Citz. This is his third successive year he's been nominated (and he won it last year!) Fingers crossed for him at the Awards Ceremony on June 10. More news as I get it!! -

5 and a half thousand nutters clapping along to "Always look on the bright side" with coconuts in trafalgar square was stupendously surreal and silly!!! :-) -
Shakespeare's birthday weekend
It was all Shakey's birthday stuff at the Globe this weekend and though I wasn't supposed to be helping (or at least just giving people breaks), I ended up doing 3 or 4 hrs, breaking people or helping children (and adults) get dressed up in cloaks and masks. Liam Brennan in "Tom Fool" at Bush Theatre
Reviews have started to come in for this which opened last Wed and runs till 21 April (if I'm allowed such a blatant plug!!) Anyway the reviews so far are really good with 5 stars from Eve Standard! *Bounces on his behalf* :-) -
