Hi all,

Did you know that in Michigan, summer starts in mid-March? I didn't either, but apparently it's so. Yesterday I wore a long sleeve shirt (with two sleeveless shirts layered, but my usual has been two sweaters and a long sleeve shirt so that was pretty light) and pants and when I walked out the door it was HOT. Yay, Soul Eater! We love that show sooooo much! Our favorite is Death the Kid. We didn't realize Maka('s voice actress) was in Bodacious Space Pirates; that's what we get for not remembering her name.

Ohhhh, I didn't know you were fans!! Death's the one with striped hair, right? I was thinking about watching more, but it was a bit late when I watched the first episode and I also got to wondering if I should read the manga instead, because that's how I usually do things, but then I wouldn't be able to hear Maka's voice, so... so I'll probably end up watching more. Eventually. I think my schedule just exploded this afternoon...

Yeah, we were pretty obsessed with it for a couple of months two years ago. Yup, he's the one with the striped hair...I smile just thinking about it. We've read the first...five...? volumes of the manga, and so far the anime's pretty darn faithful, but we're fairly sure it branches off at some point, because that's what anime has to do in order to have an ending, so... But wow, we thought your schedule was already packed, so if it's exploding...good luck!

My projects slowed down a little this month, to a nice easy pace (only one book due all month! ...and it's due this weekend, and I still need the last half of the script). Then today I was given materials for a bunch of stuff that all happens to be due around the same time, 2-3 weeks from now (I haven't asked yet about whether any of it can be spaced out a bit). So it'll get a little hectic again soon! I think I can handle it though. Thanks!

...man, the Soul Eater manga is still going, isn't it? I thought it had ended because of that Soul Eater NOT thing Yen has going. Well, having an ending is another point in the anime's favour at this point. Shounen manga is so intimidating!
