I'm making more orange chicken for dinner tonight and tomorrow.  The recipe I have called for 4-5 chicken breasts, so I bought six breasts (two 3-packs) and cooked four of them earlier this month.  I don't feel like going out since it's snowing.

I'll be doing my shopping and errands Thursday since this weekend's weather is much nicer.  I didn't want to risk driving to the store earlier this week since the roads had started to become icy.  This viral video from late-2010 or early-2011 was actually shot on one of the streets I'd need to take.

Friday's Toastmasters meeting was canceled due to the snow and icy roads.  I napped for a couple of hours since I didn't get much sleep the night before.  I watched a few of the Stephanie Miller Happy Hour podcasts overnight while waiting for the caffeine to leave my system ( Read more... )

I guess Winter's officially in Colorado now.  It was snowing and the roads were only wet when I drove to a meeting yesterday, but some of them were icy on the drive home.  I have a Toastmasters officers meeting tomorrow afternoon, then I'll begin training for a few hours at the radio show with my co-worker.

I'm glad I get to enjoy a few days of temperatures in the 60s and 70s this week. There's supposed to be rain and snow showers on Sunday. I'll be seeing 4 Moons play at the Zodiac club on Saturday, then next Saturday is the furry bowling meet ( Read more... )

I decided to skip FoxTrot again due to the weather. The roads heading home from work were snow-packed. CDOT's Web site says I-25 has snowy and icy spots, and a friend said an accident had backed up highway traffic.

I took advantage of a snow-free day to get a haircut and do some food shopping. Thursday's forecast shows a chance of rain and snow, with snow possible on Friday and Saturday. Of course, the weekend is when I need to actually drive places (Toastmasters, KRCC, FoxTrot, etc.)
