My cold seems to clear up during the day, then get worse when I sleep. I put on more clothes to sleep and an extra comforter on the bed, and have also been taking Vitamin C and DayQuil. I still have a bag of throat lozenges in my briefcase in case I need them at work this weekend. I need to get more Kleenex tomorrow since I'm down to my last box ( Read more... )

My rental car's transmission actually managed to function properly when I went grocery shopping Wednesday morning. Sadly, it reverted back to remaining in a lower gear on the trip back home. I need to go shopping for bread ingredients and appetizers today. The appetizers are for a pre-Thanksgiving party, and I wanted to make corn bread and banana bread for Thanksgiving dinner. While I'm out, I will also get my car's oil changed and pick up my Alprazolam refill.

I think I'm caught up on sleep again. I had a headache the past two days which resembled the ones I get when I'm either sick or exhausted. I took an afternoon nap and slept for 9-10 hours last night. The headache is completely gone now ( Read more... )

I'll be doing my shopping and errands Thursday since this weekend's weather is much nicer.  I didn't want to risk driving to the store earlier this week since the roads had started to become icy.  This viral video from late-2010 or early-2011 was actually shot on one of the streets I'd need to take.

23 days until the cruise reunion! I picked up a few items I needed for the trip today, including some Cadbury bars for making the bacon chocolates I plan to bring. I brought my change jar to the credit union beforehand, putting over $23 in my account. I went over my packing lists for conventions and cruises to make sure I've got everything.
