So, now that I am home from my great-Aunt Lib's funeral in NC, I got to sit down and watch the Doctor Who sketch from Red Nose Day.

And, as usual, all my excitement for it was outweighed by a too noticeable lack of writing talent from Steven Moffat.

( Fate seems so much more interesting when Pinkner and Wyman write about it. Moffat just makes it seem like a plot device to avoid writing anything genius. )

Normally I would wait a few hours (until at least tomorrow afternoon) to post my thoughts on tonight's Fringe, if I did it at all.  But a sad event has occurred in my family and I'll have to leave for out of town within the next few hours, so I'm going to go ahead and do it now.  As well as write my thoughts on the series 5 finale of Skins.

And now we have the obligatory show-breakdown post.  Where I discuss everything I watch on a weekly basis, minus Fringe, which has been discussed between my f-list and I ad nauseum.  To the point where even I don't want to talk about it anymore...for a few days at least.  So, I'm talking about my other loves instead.

So, Monday night after the museum closed, my supervisor/good friend Beth and I went out to have dinner and see the new Narnia movie.  Here are my thoughts, after much discussion and analysis with Beth after the fact (for she too is a C.S. Lewis nerd and a Narnia lover):
