[unable to resist such an interesting invitation such as that--especially since he was unaware of any paths on that side of town--the Doctor has decided to dress for the occasion in a nice black tuxedo and bowtie and shows up to see what sort of starters they've got to offer.

once he has his lime soda, he stands by one of the many openings in the restaurant, sipping his drink while looking out at the view of the forest and the town in the distance while the sun begins its descent towards the horizon. he wonders just when the other shoe might drop.]

[glances up] Hmm? [then at his drink, though he knows what Brax really means] Do I? Funny, I ordered this sans gravitas. Couldn't tell the difference. Perhaps it's the new 'diet fizzy drink'.

[For certain, here is a man with which Fuu can talk about dessert ^^] wind_of_reason July 11 2010, 04:53:52 UTC
[After dessert while music is playing and the floor is being prepared for the dance, Fuu comes up to talk with Mister Braxiatel.]

Good evening, Mister Braxiatel. How did you enjoy the meal?

Oh? As in, it was so good you'll have to reproduce them?

[and somehow, he manages to sidle up next to her to catch her unaware, but he comes with drink in both hands--banana daiquiris this time] Here, try this. You look lovely, by the way.

It's called a banana daiquiri. I wasn't sure if you liked alcohol in it or anything, so it's the virgin kind.

[He's got himself a cola and a plate of nibbles of various types, and is just stood contentedly somewhere near the edge of the room, trying different things. It's fun watching people, and although there aren't many here yet, it's still fun to play at guessing what they're doing. He only really recognises one of them, but he's not that good at stepping forwards per se and it's not as if he's unhappy or uncomfortable with what's happening. He doesn't tend to go out to parties much, so he's dressed up the only way he knows how. In his military uniform. Everyone else seems so dressed up, but at least he's made an effort, so that'll have to do he supposes.]

[the Doctor approaches, smiling and looking down at Raivis] Hello there! Don't believe we've met! I'm the Doctor and you're...the one who had made all that food a little while ago East B2, right? Sorry, meant to come, but I was a bit busy.

[He smiles cheerfully at the man and shrugs slightly to his statement.]

Is not problem ja? Was there for those that were hungry not for forcing people to attend ja?

[he chuckles slightly and looks at the man intently for a few seconds, before deciding on what to say.]

I'm Raivis, Raivis Galante... you don't really look like doctor. You look a little young...

[his smile turns a bit smug; mentally preens himself] That's the best compliment I've had all day--the looking a little young part, not the doubt about my looking like a doctor, I mean.

That accent of yours, Raivis... Would I be correct in saying you're from the Baltic region: Lithuania-Latvia-Estonia, around there?

[After spending a very long time looking at the bulletin board of Luministi's history (especially relative to it's small size), Fuu goes to buy a kimono for the occasion, goes home to get ready, and arrives at 'The Chrysalis' promptly at 5.]

[The construction of the restaurant is breathtaking, and Fuu enjoys walking around a little, sipping orange juice and appreciating the view.]

[Her mind full of the oddly brief history of the 700 year old town, she's discreetly looking for people to chat to about it. Although, of course, she wouldn't be opposed to a more casual conversation either.]

Nice view, isn't it? [steps up beside her] Never really noticed just how nice the rest of forest was. Imagine what it'll be like watching the fireworks from here.

[Fuu smiles happily at the Doctor. It's always a pleasure to speak with him (although occasionally mind-bending).]

It will be spectacular. I worried that I might be missing the summer fireworks back home, so I'm glad I get to see some here.
Have you had the opportunity to enjoy many firework shows?

It's summer for you, eh?

Ohhh, I've seen countless different displays--even put on a few myself! [though, to be fair, those ones weren't exactly with fireworks...]
