I was trying to figure out why I don't like Titanic last night, I was watcing it and I think it's the dialogue, I mean the acting is awful but I think it's a consequence of the dialogue being so unnatural - who talks like that. My brother has a list of Cal phrase that he finds hilarious because they are so fucking over the top and unecessarily ( Read more... )

i love that video for some reason. just watched it twice in a row. cant believe he's only 19 there!!! there's something about him, isnt there...;)

i think the lion king is overrated. it seems to be every kid from my generation's fave disney film.

I know I find something about it mesmerising and I watched it like 3 times in a row before I could find other clips. I tried as best as I could to list why I liked it but even then I dunno if I got it's appeal...I know 19 - gee I think there is something about him and I can't fathom what that is either ( ... )

How could you have not heard Vauxhall and I? It's only his most acclaimed album (not that that means anything at all) Does that mean you haven't heard "Speedway"?? Oh my god!

I haven't heard it because it still costs too much money for me to buy - (in that I refuse to pay more than 5 squid for an album) - because it's so acclaimed.

No I've never heard Speedway, (although I have heard and worship and adore Why don't you find out for yourself) - although of course when I get time allofmp3.com will change all that...

When will it come down in damn price??? All his other albums have, never that one!!

Oh I see. Well that's totally understandable if you can't afford it.

But you MUST hear Speedway! It displays such hatred, and in such a remarkable way. It's not like one of those "I hate you" or "you hate me" songs where it's just laid out there, but the way he sings about how whoever the poem is about and their ill will towards him you get the feeling that whoever it is must really really have it out for him.

Cillian is verray verray pretty indeed, bless I can't look at him now without imagining him in Breakfast on Pluto...he has been in so many films that I like too as well as being easy on the eyes. 28 Days Later, Breakfast..., Red Eye...

David Sylvian is pretty too, even now his face has an effeminate elegance to it - one that pervades through the years and the facial hair and the other changes to his appearance...lovely.
