I was trying to figure out why I don't like Titanic last night, I was watcing it and I think it's the dialogue, I mean the acting is awful but I think it's a consequence of the dialogue being so unnatural - who talks like that. My brother has a list of Cal phrase that he finds hilarious because they are so fucking over the top and unecessarily

I know I find something about it mesmerising and I watched it like 3 times in a row before I could find other clips. I tried as best as I could to list why I liked it but even then I dunno if I got it's appeal...I know 19 - gee I think there is something about him and I can't fathom what that is either.

I love the clip because it is a level of youth about it I spose as well, of burgeoning sophistication but there is something raw and fundamental about the performing. Sylvian is impersonating every cliche of a rock star from the gestures up to the hair and make up (did you like the whole eyeshadow in the wrong place lol)? Yet for all this clumsy impersonation he is still doing it with his own style somehow...gee I adore him so...

I think lion king is a rip off of Bambi with scar added on, however as you've said its everyone's favourite it seems and so I had to see it. I personally prefer Bambi, the sweetness in that film astounds me and reduces me to tears...so many twats who say Lion King is the best haven't seen Bambi is the problem.

I don't really dig Disney or kids films much as a rule (I dunno why since I am somewhat of a child myself) but that film is ace
