The White Rabbit shadedsunlight September 30 2011, 07:46:38 UTC
Alice was quite confused when she woke up in the morning because here was a beautiful day where no one dying or otherwise being mauled. It was quiet, peaceful, nice even. That meant there was no logical reason for her to be out and around at all. Worse, she was stuck in the strangest of dresses that refused. To come. Off. Grr.

After a hasty breakfast of some toast and orange juice, Alice set out to the village to figure out what the hell was going on. Maybe someone would have some answers for her. And hopefully someone who didn't know her too well because really, this was one embarrassing dress.

I find it amazingly appropriate that I'm late to this post. lostinmyway October 1 2011, 14:01:10 UTC
One of the first hints Alice might get about her situation might be the White Rabbit. Or, well, what's supposed to be the White Rabbit. Somewhere along the lines, someone must've gotten their wires crossed (or maybe the Malnosso are simply showing off their twisted sense of humour once again), because something seems just a little bit...off.

This White Rabbit doesn't quite seem to be behaving properly, either. Instead of running past and frantically consulting her pocketwatch, she's moving at more of, well, an amble. She doesn't sound particularly concerned, either, judging from the dreamy tone of her words.

"Dear, dear. I shall be too late." And then she pauses to think. "Shall I? Hmm...."

And thus right on time. <3 shadedsunlight October 1 2011, 22:42:51 UTC
And suddenly the day became awesome. Alice gawks unashamedly at Grune, taking her time committing the wonderful image to memory. Thank you, forces that be, thank you so much. After staring for a little longer, Alice goes up to Grune and gives a great big smile, quickly scrawling out a message.

Morning, Grune! You look especially beautiful today. Going somewhere?

Haha, awesome. lostinmyway October 2 2011, 02:36:46 UTC
That's a question that's difficult at the best of times, but now? Good luck getting a proper answer out of her, Alice.

"Hmm.... I think so. I wonder where I want to go."

The Cheshire Cat shadedsunlight September 30 2011, 07:47:53 UTC
And just as a cat is not complete without a grin or what is a grin without a cat, how could there be Alice in Wonderland without the Cheshire Cat?

It's not her Cheshire Cat, the one Ginia grew up with and the one she got to know, but it'll do. Now if only that cat would appear...

so_shik October 1 2011, 08:11:24 UTC
But the cat wouldn't be the cat if she appeared right on time, and so it's only when Alice seems to be least expecting her that she'll appear, a broad grin stretching across her face in almost a smug fashion.

"Still curious and willing to learn?" she asked, tail moving behind her in a lazy wave. Though she had been another cat earlier this week, the Cheshire Cat didn't notice the difference. After all, everyone here was mad, why wouldn't she be since she was thinking such silly things.

Appearing out of nowhere, that's something Alice needs to learn how to do. She quickly turns around to face the Cheshire Cat, giving a small frown, then shrugging it off.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind figuring out what the fuck is going on here. Seriously, this is really pretty bizarre, even with the standards here.

omg cata please forgive me and the fact I cannot play a decent cheshire shik ;; so_shik October 2 2011, 05:50:52 UTC
The Cheshire Cat doesn't seem fazed at all, moving to walk in a circle around Alice as she speaks.

"Ohhh? And since when are standards something to believe in here?"

The Caterpillar shadedsunlight September 30 2011, 07:48:13 UTC
Interesting. Smoke trailing through the air with no apparent fire around catches Alice's attention and she goes to investigate. There's only one person she can think of who would be around smoke and she'd never complain about his company, even if this situation.

Smoker is busy contemplating the mysteries of the universe. Like colors. Why are they so damn colorful? Everything should be white and black, or at least grey. He puffs on his suspicious cigars, while sitting on what he is currently convinced is a giant mushroom; surrounded in a far too colorful forest. In other words, he's tripping out, and he's hanging out near the fountain, oblivious to all the people running around like crazy. For no apparent reason, he keeps making his smoke into special rings. And vowels. And Japanese kanji while he's at it. Why is anyone's guess.

"Why are keigun and kaizoku so similarly written?" They're not. Which is a whole other story than the fact that he's worrying about this in the first place, and even asking it out loud.

...Woah. Alice sneezes and waves away smoke away from her face as she tracks the source down to Smoker (naturally). She watches the rings, letters, and kanji trail into the air, then looks over at Smoker.

Wow. You're stoned.

The marine huffs and crosses his arms. And then legs. Is it just him or does he have too many limbs? Or is it too few? What was the appropriate number for people to have again?

"I am not a stone. I am made of smoke." Vital secrets of the universe there.

The Mad Hatter's Party shadedsunlight September 30 2011, 07:48:36 UTC
And it wouldn't be Alice in Wonderland without visiting the Mad Hatter, right? Alice smirks a little to herself as she comes upon the mad tea party, remembering and knowing a Hatter of her own back home, though less on the mad and more on the hats. And tea. Lots of tea there.

And boy is it a party. Lost in time, this little patch of land in the middle of heavy woods (AKA the clearing behind CH7) is destined to be a tea party forever. A long table stretches out across the area, filled to the brim with various tea pots and cups, as well as cookies, biscuits, and whatever tasty treats you can think of that goes with tea. At the very end of the table sits a haphazardly-dressed Roji singing lowly to himself while pouring himself a cup of tea. However, that's not exactly Roji at the moment. Today, he's the Mad Hatter.

He takes notice of Alice almost immediately and shoots out of his seat. His large hat almost falls right off his head at the sudden movement.

"Ah, welcome, welcome! You're just in time for tea time!" He shouts, beckoning her over.

Alice isn't the biggest tea drinker, it's more of a Giniaism, but it's an attractive party. She smiles at Roji and waves, approaching the table to look over all the treats. It's a nice little spread and she helps herself to a cookie, munching on it while she takes out her notepad and pen.

Looks pretty good. You prepare this all by yourself?

Roji leans in close to the paper, squinting as if mulling over the words on it. He then looks up at Alice and smiles, nodding enthusiastically. "Yep. Wouldn't be much of a tea party without some good tea, treats and ambiance, right?"

Despite Alice not making a move for the tea, he starts pouring her a cup anyway. Except her cup has a big crack on the side, so a lot of the tea seeps out and onto the tablecloth. Roji doesn't take any notice to it and simply plops the pot down and sits back in his chair to attend to his own cup. "Drink up while it's hot!"

Fine. That was it. At the long of an odd day and somewhat frustrating day, Alice decided it was time do what she'd been hoping she could avoid doing; asking the guys in room 22 for help. Honestly, not that they would laugh, but she really didn't want to see them in this getup.

Making her way back to Community House seven, she stops outside the building and sighs, about to head inside before a commotion behind the building catches her attention and she goes to investigate.

((ooc; Helios, Giles, (Grune if she wants to wander back in then back out), and Kazooie for a posting order? Croquet game, unless you guys want to figure out the whole white roses red thing.))

The Malnosso put him in a dress again! And this dress is causing quite the commotion in the back of said building seven. What better a way to vent one's frustration than to...play croquet apparently?

" Why am I the one in the dress? Malnosso keep putting me in one. Off with their heads! I-I mean. Ah!" Helios will swing that mallet and hit the croquet ball rather hard. He's annoyed and none to pleased about the dress. Just wait until he sees his roses which aren't red.

That mallet? That, uh, happens to be a bird, if you didn't notice. A bird who appears to have been painted pink, save for her bright-red-and-yellow Filial wings, and with a smudge of black on her beak.

She doesn't sound entirely pleased about the situation.

"Y'know, Queen-guy, that's a ball. Not a bad guy's face. You don't need to hit it that hard!"

... If only to save her some skull pain. Yeesh.

Alice rounds the corner and stops and stares.

Object of interest number one, one of her favorite subjects of harassment, Helios, looking quite smashing in a dress. Playing croquet with object of interest number two, Kazooie, who is the unfortunate mallet and looking much like a flamingo instead of a breegull.

That gasping sound you hear? That's the sound of Alice rolling on the floor laughing.
