So I had a really stressful brain-draining day at work, not managing to get away til well after 7, and I got home to find my washing machine (with all my favourite clothes in it) was refusing to drain to I had to drain it by hand (I'm so glad I own a LOT of towels). My Dad came up to my house yesterday with a bunch of removal men, and all the furniture I'm taking from Mum & Dad's house. I am now the proud owner of a houseful of antiques, along with the kind of massive, silver, American-style fridge that families with five children dream of. Me! I had a very grown-up house day today. I had the decorators come in to give me a quote this morning for the painting; turns out I need some of the walls filled & sanded because they're really rough, and the ceiling in the spare bedroom needs to be partially taken down and smoothed over as there's some bowing from an old leak. I'm really stressed :-(

It's not about one thing in particular, just a constant knot in my stomach. Obviously I'm stressing about the move. It's really weird to go to bed every night and think "This is my last $day in this flat".
