So here's the floor plan of the upper floor of
my (soon-to-be) new house:
Is this not the worst floorplan you've ever seen? This particular estate agent is REALLY cheap. I could have done better in Paint.
The "master bedroom" is 4.47m x 2.84m, the second bedroom is 4.47m x 2.82m. Yep, all of two centimetres between them. Which one should I make my bedroom, and which one should be my studio / spare room?
The master bedroom is bigger, of course, but it's on the wall which adjoins the maisonette next door. The second bedroom is on the side of the house that doesn't have another house next to it (it's sort of end of terrace, but not quite). However, on that side there is a stairwell serving the upper floor flats which run at a right-angle to the maisonette (yeah, it's a council estate, it's all higgledy-piggledy!).
ALSO, you see the large cupboard at the top of the stairs? That's going to be my walk-in wardrobe. (Ooooh, get me!!)
So, the larger bedroom that's on a wall next to another house; or the smaller bedroom that's on a wall next to a stairwell but which is right next to my walk-in wardrobe?
Really, I can't decide. There's, like, nothing in it! Oh the hardship!!
