So I was snowed in at home for the last three days of the week last week... Snow snow everywhere, couldn't even get my car out of the neighborhood. Made good use of the time, though. Finished up our Save-the-Dates, which we'll be mailing out this week (yay!!), finally (almost) finished organizing the office, including going through all my boxes ( Read more... )

This has been a tough week. I've had to get to work way earlier than usual so that I can leave earlier so Shasta can have her car back for evening appointments. We're both really grumpy and stressed, and I'm exhausted as I haven't been sleeping very well ( Read more... )

We got up at 4:30 AM to get to the free dental clinic this morning. Waited in line in the cold until 8 AM; Shasta got her teeth cleaned, but they didn't do the deep cleaning that we were hoping for, which means she hasn't actually saved any money at all. *sigh* We should have opted for a filling instead, she needs like seven of those... anyway, ( Read more... )

I've had no time to breathe these past few days, let alone update. My job has been sending me all over the place for day-long training sessions, which means when I get back to my desk I have piles and piles of fires to put out and files to get up. Shasta was pretty sick most of the weekend :( but we still managed to get out to Elitch Gardens on Saturday afternoon for a little long-overdue summer fun. Last weekend we went to Pride and I snapped a bunch of photos of the parade. The parade was not as good as it was last year, unfortunately... but we still had a really great time.
