So I was snowed in at home for the last three days of the week last week... Snow snow everywhere, couldn't even get my car out of the neighborhood. Made good use of the time, though. Finished up our Save-the-Dates, which we'll be mailing out this week (yay!!), finally (almost) finished organizing the office, including going through all my boxes ( Read more... )

Last night our neighbor Marvin came over to drop off a CD of the engagement photos he took for Shasta and I earlier this month (he's an amateur photographer.) YAY!! I went through them and edited them up, since he doesn't know much about photoshop, and I'll be taking a few over to the store today to have some prints made ( Read more... )

I have had SEWING floating around in my head for the last two weeks. It got so bad that last week I went to Joann's, and with the last remnants of my bank account bought four of their 99 cent patterns and 3-ish yards of a chocolate-and-cherry plaid polyester that was on clearance.

On Saturday we started hanging rope lights on the house -- a project that was short-lived when we realized that we were going to need a bunch of connectors we didn't have to get the light configuration we want. I took yesterday off of work -- used some vacation hours for a much-needed break, and spent the time at home with Shasta working on various errands and wedding stuffs. So last night a few more Ebay auctions closed, and Shasta and I both stood there staring at the computer screen with our jaws hanging open.
